PORTABLE OPERATION

June 24, 2004

Click the top photo for more QRP photos but so much has happened since 2002 that these pages will go through a major revision this summer.  New portable gear, Elecraft KX1 and Yaesu FT817 supplement the SWL SW30+ in this photos.  Also, the large and regular size Buddipole are in constant use for allmost all operations.

As for the Wood Box Radio in the top photos, it has become very successful by surviving a number of hill top hikes and picnic table portable operations, even field day.

Now, I'm very interested in back pack portable and would appreciate hearing from others who are active in this area.  Please send an email to bprats@telis.org , thanks in advance.

Have fun.  .
